RTD began an extensive project on April 3 to undertake maintenance and repairs to the coping panels that run along the Southeast Rail Line south of Broadway to Lincoln Station near to I-25.

The project will ensure that the E, H, and R lines continue to operate safely and efficiently between I-25•Broadway Station in Denver and Lincoln Station in Lone Tree. The maintenance work will necessitate occasional schedule modifications through October.

The construction is likely to have a significant and intermittent impact on rail service on the E, H, and R lines through the fall of this year.

The coping panel upgrades will be completed in nine phases. Workers will start at Lincoln Station and work their way north. In 2024, similar work will be done on the south side of the rail alignment.
