Metro Vancouver's TransLink announced Feb. 16 that service on the Canada Line will be impacted for three weeks between Bridgeport Station and Richmond–Brighouse Station due to construction.

Weekday service will end four hours early during the project work, concluding service at 9:30 p.m. to allow for crews to continue work on the new Capstan Station. Regular service will resume on March 11, TransLink said.

The temporary schedule will primarily affect customers traveling to and from TransLink’s Bridgeport, Aberdeen, Lansdowne, and Richmond–Brighouse stations.

Additional bus service will be provided between the Bridgeport and Richmond-Brighouse stations to offer consumers an alternative mode of transportation. Buses will stop at each affected station and run every 10 minutes. Crews will be using a large crane to install the escalator frames and station platform roofs, a release said.
